Top 4 Instagram-Worthy Sights in Chicago

Updated: Jun 22, 2020

If you want to make sure you hit all the Instagram worthy sights of Chicago, then these are the top 4 places to see to ensure you leave with plenty of insta-worthy pictures.

Navy Pier Ferris Wheel

The Navy Pier is a fun spot just in general. They have carnival rides outside and beautiful photo ops near the water. The Ferris Wheel has awesome views of the city and even if you’re afraid of heights, you’ll feel safe inside the giant, thick walls of the pod.

The Bean

It will definitely be a tough feat to get a picture here without anyone else in the background, but that just shows how high in demand of a spot this is. Originally, the bean was created to be a cloud that reflected the skyline of the city, but whether you deem it a bean or a cloud, the picture you’ll get from this sculpture will be a shoe-in for likes on your Instagram account.

The Changing Faces

This area right next to the bean is so cool! If you go in the summer, it’s basically a mini waterpark for little kids, but the adults are just as fascinated. Giant brick walls alternate people’s faces that are projected onto them, and every couple minutes the face’s mouth turns into an oval shape and water starts spurting out.

Riverwalk

The Chicago Riverwalk is essentially a walk along the river. You’ll see kayakers, people on boat tours, and the occasional duck. But if you stand on the bridge above the water, right before you walk down to the riverwalk, you can get beautiful pictures of the skyline and the water in the background.
